The two mamas of TwoMamas Photography are Amanda DeBurro and Renée Scott. They are both photographers, Somerville residents, and mothers. Through a random meeting on a sidewalk in 2006, they realized that they had both moved to the same neighborhood, bought their first houses, and had their children within months of each other. Mandy and Renée also discovered a shared love of photography. They produced a calendar of the neighborhood children, and from that success, started TwoMamas Photography. Mandy and Renée love working together because they have a shared artistic eye, which makes cooperation easier, in addition to distinct styles that make it more interesting.
